With 2023 being the first year we charged for the event you'll notice an increase in price for 2024. Why?
For nearly 10 years the OCA has traditionally covered the cost of the OCA Days, it has been a great gift to have been able to give our community.
The content, value and connections the OCA Days creates within the community is ever evolving and growing, we feel it is time for this to recognised, making good business sense.
With the OCA continually trying to meet the needs of the community, we also have a number of projects that we are working towards within our New OCA Way framework. Being able to re-distribute funds away from an event that can pay for itself to other areas, will bring increased value and meaning to the OCA as a whole.
The cost per person in 2023 was around €170. Lots of things go into this equation - venue hire, catering, furniture, equipment, merchandise, entertainment etc. The event has also grown in the number of attendees from when we first started the OCA Days - it is amazing to see the community grow in this way!
