Miquel is technical consultant at ForgeFlow, and has been involved as developer of the openupgrade project since migration to version 9.
This talk aims towards showing newcomers to openupgrade that migrating their databases and contributing to openupgrade is easier than you think. In this talk you will learn how can you conduct a migration of a simple database across multiple odoo versions using OpenUpgrade. The minimum infrastructure required to migrate will be presented, you will learn how to quickly see migration results even when not all your modules are migrated, and you will learn some of the rules used to migrate a new module. Finally, guidelines to contribute to the OpenUpgrade project will be presented.
45 minutes to introduce the topic to participants, and 45 minutes for participants to test themselves.
