Configuration

If you want to create a promotion program of the type 3x2:

1. Go to Sales > Products > Promotion programs and create a new one.
2. Set the reward type to Multiple of.
3. Set the Free product to the one in the promotion.
4. Set the Force rewarded product option.
5. Set the Quantity to reward.
6. Set the Quantity to fulfill the reward condition.
7. If you want a limit on how many times the product should be rewarded, set a Maximum reward quantity.

If you want to create a promotion program of the type take one of these products and get this one another for free:

1. Go to Sales > Products > Promotion programs and create a new one.
2. Set the reward type to Multiple of.
3. Set the Free product to the one in the promotion.
4. Set the Quantity to reward.
5. Set the Quantity to fulfill the reward condition.
6. Set the products domain to fulfill the reward condition.
7. If you want a limit on how many times the product should be rewarded, set a Maximum reward quantity.

Usage

If a coupon belongs to a eCommerce restricted program, if a user tries to validate it from the sale order backend, it will raise an error, disallowing it.

The same coupon will be usable from the eCommerce though. Configure the promotions as described in the previous section and then place a quotation that fulfills the rules.

The reward will show up an extra order line, with the price unit of the applicable pricelist and a discount of 100%.
