NEW FEATURE: Multiples (QTY) or Packages for Vendor Parts

Hi,
I am not sure if this is the correct way to go about it but I would like to request a new feature to the Purchase module (I am running v12 community).
Here is, briefly, the thinking behind the feature and what it would do:
Background:
- A field for MOQ exists for vendor parts
- No field for “multiples” exists (i.e. vendor will sell in multiples of 6)
- Packages cannot be created for vendor part
- Where the vendor (or another vendor) sells in many multiples/packages, there is no easy way to enforce this on orders (without creating another product)
The Feature:
- A new field for multiples that is enforced on orders
- Or alternatively, vendor packages
If this is not the route for this kind of request, I do apologize.
