Dave, the problem is not so much about sales, it's more at the delivery step. The scheduling happens after the sales is confirmed. Based on our discussion with our customer, scheduling on tasks makes more sense for them. We also made a demo of the web_timeline module on project task and it works well for their requirements.

The sales order only contains products that needs to be delivered and installed. It may contain services, but those would be a different task (directly created from the SO). I am focusing on the task for the installation.

Daniel, we are using version 10 and there is no more SO -> DO workflow.

I am looking for a module that would create a project task for each delivery order and based on the project task schedule, the delivery order scheduled date would change accordingly.
Also, all the tasks assigned to the same technician on the same day would create one picking wave with all the delivery orders related to those tasks.
Any ideas or feedbacks? Which repository would be best to start a specification?
