Thanks Samer and Luis.

Lets wait one week to see who else wants to get on board, then we will proceed with the project.

The next activity will be a meeting to discuss our assessments of GDPR and Odoo with the outcome of having an agreed view of the problems we are trying to solve, an understanding of the resources within the group and a plan to create and maintain the appropriate modules.

I will provide a conference call number, a Nextcloud to share and store documents, and a collaborative on-line editor for shared notes of the call over the next few days.

The UK has a public holiday next week so I propose April 4th 12:00 BST (13:00 CET), does this work for everyone else?

Hello All,

We ThinkOpen can do some of the design and implementation tasks.

We also did a breadkdown of GDPR requirements for Odoo, in order to evaluate which modules are affected and which new modules are needed.

Please advise how we can proceed.

Following Samer's work, we have further analysed the obligations of the regulation and created a list of functions that would help manage GDPR in Odoo.

This now needs to be expanded in to the full requirement detail and broken down in to a specification for development of the various modules.

Samer offered to support an audit of the module, Andy can create documentation etc, can I get some volunteers to put themselves forward to help with the specification and development?

As soon as we have organised ourselves, I will get the documents so far in to a Git repo so we can collaborate.

Just thought I would follow Samir’s attempts to bump this up the agenda. May is heading in quickly and if a set of GDPR modules are possible we need to move on them. Our contribution is based on any training on the module output to enhance uptake.

We need people to step in a begin the specification and development.

Stuart @ opus VL I suspect is able to get involved.  Can you post this week if you want to be involved so we can get started
