Two simple examples :Relating to the invoice & delivery address listed on sales order, when a user wants to change it from the default proposed on a sales order, Odoo will let the user select from all the list of partners available in the database.
- It's a gift: the delivery address is not related to the ordering partner.
- It's a leasing: the invoice goes to a third party for payment.
You can't just block this option, but you could maybe set
up a removable filter which will force you to "Search
more..." in those rare cases above.
But this needs to add some fields on the SO, and maybe it's not what you want.
