RE: Migration to version 9
byHi all,
I would like to ask about modules from old versions which functionality make the same of Odoo core in v9.
Must we better create script to migrate from OCA module to Odoo module? OR
Must we just migrate ALL modules?
v9 improves Task, issues and timesheet maybe some OCA modules are no longer needed. Same with CRM, Sales and Contracts, Website, Blog, eCommerce!, Events, …
Have OCA any position about how to “clean” repositories when new versions come?

Dear OCA contributors
Pedro and I proposed a new process to manage the coming migration from 8 to 9 :
Main thing is to get rid of the __unported__ directory as it contains outdated versions of modules. We want to migrate the latest version and avoid duplicating PR against many branches.
Version 9 is still more than a month ahead, so we have time to review, discuss and agree on this proposal.
