Hello Max! complementing Luis F Miléo words.
The big issue over this project was:
1 - Really big poor internet quality in Brazilian internal northweast;
2 - Need connect over 50+ shops;
3 - Descentralized area (some shops need more than 6 hours of travel Central office to local shop);
4 - Little support team;
So, If a Shop need rebuild all environment on Disaster recovery:
- Reinstall Server machine from a pre-image and all services;
- Reinstall all softwares and PostgreSQL 10 + Bucardo scripts with pre-made backup (from last day or hour);
- Shop start sell again;
- Sync with Office PostgreSQL Server will start.
All back to peace!
Project details will be detailed by Luis Miléo if necessary as him told before.

Hi,
We do that with bucardo with one central server and 50 nodes(Some of them are still being deployed).
Take a look: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t5jBvEsOMbdcre2o91Ou8p8h8sVc-yonWTKPaV17cbw/edit?usp=sharing
I can improve the documentation and give more details if you are interested.

Subject: Distributed Odoo infrastructure
Dear Contributors,
I have been asked twice this year to provide an architecture where Odoo would remain available during an Internet outage for a company with multiple offices.
Apart from the solution where the customer get redundant Internet connection with 4G or satelite router, have you implemented a solution where each office has its own Odoo and exchange data with the HQ (get master data, push transactions)?
Which technology did you use? Multi-Master PostgreSQL? ESB? Odoo2Odoo connector? Something else?
Any thoughts or great ideas in this area?
Thank you. Have a great day and week-end!
