Dear Community,

I would like to propose the creation of a new repository 'rest-framework' to  hold new addons developed to ease the development of REST services into Odoo.
The first candidate for this new repository is the 'base_rest' addon (https://github.com/akretion/odoo-shopinvader/tree/10.0/base_rest). This addon provides the basis to easily build REST services into Odoo. The degree of maturity of this addon is Beta (see https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MmGxv0yTw0pvB-PYAcUhbCcku9ZG-Y2DSGXwZDNYyIw/edit#heading=h.6tdzedfd0omr). We already have some enhancement/refactoring in progress (https://github.com/akretion/odoo-shopinvader/pull/144) and others to be developed into the next weeks https://github.com/akretion/odoo-shopinvader/issues/154
