David,

As I explained in the other thread, both the recipe and Docker complete, again see how Voodoo works. A pre-built (Docker stack) associated to tool for converging the very specific project dependencies a top of that stable stack is a very standard pattern in the industry... In productrion, once the project is converged, the container can even be tagged and dealt with the traditional Docker tools, but the recipe is still an important part of the puzzle.

Regards.

That's a great thing, however I want to propose thoroughly evaluating the benefits of maintaining anybox in the advent of docker, and each maintainer has to decide if it is worthwhile the effort, or if there is potential for streamlining. I know some stuff about docker, but almost know nothing about anybox, so I would be pleased to help with this analysis and learn something more about anybox.

Can anyone, who knows both tools give a brief (neutral!) technical comparison? What are the point's both address, and how do they address them? What tools are involved?

Thanks! Best, David
