Re: OCA Repositories in Odoo Apps Store

Hi Pedro, all fair points. Legally "royalty free" is NO Price. So i almost bet my ass the contract would fail to grasp our case (but of course they invent something new than). High commission of 30% definitely is an issue but probably the bitter pill to take For sure we shall ask the contributors for their take. But i think if we get a large majority +1 for such a strategy any surplus we gain from "selling" these modules can be used to - improve the modules marketing - sustain the OCA - do the actually (from a technical perspective) non important job (of upating this html file) - still be visible on the official App store About pricing. Unless there is a term in the contract, i'd do a machine learning algo that determines the perfect price ;-) And that is probably as cheap as a litre of milk ;-) Maybe we shall discuss it on the board first, but the more i think of it better i like it, because to me it still feels like the most intelligent think to do to deal with their strategy to get ours right on the long run.
