We are also very supportive for the OCA and think it is a marvelous community. 

We just have an issue with GitHub lately an the speed of review on PR. But I am happy to help and get things going and for smaller stuff, it can go...

That said, I would like to get included in a review cycle, maybe with you and some other fellow OCA member that is the PSC for projects. Anyone?

Being new to this, I do find it somewhat overwhelming with all the modules that are available for Odoo but it's nice to see that many have made solutions. I do know that there are many other repositories as well as the Odoo store to find modules but i'm most comfortable with modules contained within OCA due to the large community that's supporting them. 

 

Joe, any chance you will be submitting your modules to OCA? My concern is that if they aren't part of the community, support for updates and bug fixes are relied upon the company or person whom created them which i'm sure you know, sometimes goes away due to unpredictable circumstances.

great news. We are also heavily working on projects right now mainly to use it for our internal "ops" system (project and support all in one). Some things we have already considered, to, but we also have done the import from MS and Project libre xml into odoo, tasks and subtasks, assigment on several guys on a task and so forth). I think that brainstorming and throwing it togehter will be beneficial for all. We are also thinking about extending the timeline view of the oca parts which relate to vis.js. Porting to 12 also is due.

Hello everyone, 

 

I'm new to contributing and I look forward to being a part of the community. I have several Project modules I would like to contribute and would love your feedback and interest in reviewing them. I posted an issue outlining the modules. Please let me know your thoughts and if you would like to review them, then i'll submit PR's for them.
