Dive into the Runboat architecture
Review key Kubernetes concepts
Install Runboat and let it deploy builds on a Kubernetes cluster: at the end of the session participants have their own running runboat deployment which they can customize
Learn how to customize the builds for specific requirements of your organization, such as using private repositories
High Level Prerequisites:
Familiarity with the Linux Command Line
Elementary familiarity with basic Kubernetes concepts such as what is a Pod, a deployment or an Ingress.
We will review these concepts during the training, you don’t need to be a Kubernetes expert to benefit from the training.
A Linux Virtual Machine or VPS (preferably Ubuntu, but any other distro that is supported by Microk8s will work too)
A cloud VPS is preferable to avoid bandwidth issues and allow the setup of GitHub webhooks.
