Jorge Rubén Elena Poblet is the founder and CEO of Binhex, a consultancy specialized in Odoo ERP with over 500 implementations completed across Spain and the U.S. He also leads Binhex Cloud, a SaaS and IaaS platform for Odoo Community + OCA, offering scalable infrastructure, daily updates, and integrated AI agents.
As Secretary of AEOdoo, Jorge actively promotes open-source collaboration and is currently helping launch OCUS (Odoo Community US) to grow the Odoo ecosystem in North America.
While the Odoo open-source community has seen tremendous growth in Europe and Latin America, the United States remains a largely untapped frontier. In this session, I’ll introduce OCUS — Odoo Community US, a new initiative inspired by the success of AEOdoo in Spain.
We’ll explore how we’re building a local ecosystem that brings together developers, partners, and businesses around Odoo Community + OCA. From organizing community events to creating shared resources and promoting contributions, OCUS aims to replicate the collaborative model that has fueled the success of the OCA in Europe.
Whether you're based in the U.S. or simply curious about expanding the reach of the open-source Odoo ecosystem, this talk is an open invitation to connect, collaborate, and grow together.
