Re: Transifex deployment
by

Hi, Ivan,
We are using custom deployment scripts integrated with Travis for GitHub > Transifex (https://github.com/OCA/maintainer-quality-tools/blob/master/travis/travis_transifex.py) and in a server launched periodically for Transifex > GitHub (https://github.com/OCA/maintainer-tools/blob/master/tools/tx_pull.py).But we are moving our translation infrastructure to Weblate, as Transifex is not open source and their policy forces us to pay although we are open source. For Travis phase, this is the script: https://github.com/OCA/maintainer-quality-tools/blob/master/travis/travis_weblate.py, and the inverse process is integrated in our runbot through travis2docker module: https://github.com/OCA/runbot-addons/pull/125

I got answer from @mart-e about how it works in odoo:To synchronise Transifex -> Github, I have made this with a simple script in a cron running weekly. I have published it atAnd then, a cron rule0 4 * * 0 python2 /home/odoo/tx/pull-translations.py --path="/home/odoo/tx/10.0" --commit --push > /home/odoo/tx/cron-pull-10.0. log 2>&1 The tricky part was that the tx client was ignoring files locally newer than the ones on transifex, this is why I make a "touch" to force a timestamp (to adapt based on your synchronisation rate).2017-07-24 14:05 GMT+05:00 Ivan Yelizariev <ivann.exe@gmail.com>:Can somebody share information how @oca-transbot works? I want to deploy automatic merging translation from transifex to it-projects-llc repos. Do OCA use txgh server? Txgh documentation has examples for single repo only and doesn't cover multi-repo deployment.Thank you.Ivan Yelizariev______________________________
