We extended v8 landed costs functionality with a module that allows you to select supplier invoice(s) with a ratio. When "create landed cost lines" button is fired, we went through added invoices and products in invoice's lines, put their amount into the cost lines by multiplying with ratio by checking if the product can be used as landed cost. It also shows related landed costs on supplier invoice (readonly) for reference. It allows user to track which invoice is related with which landed cost and makes calculations for him. Yet we have another module to add an internal reference on the stock.landed.cost model for making tracking easier. If you feel they would be useful, we can contribute them.

The expected flow is that you receive the goods, and in other side, you receive the invoice for other expenses (travel insurance, delivery, etc), and you use distribution costs for joining both and charge over the average price of the product (and the quant real one) the distributed increase.

What flow do you expect?

But I can't see the cost update either in purchase order or invoice ...

This module was made from scratch and takes a different approach, working from pickings. Stock accounting is not supported though.

The functionning in Odoo 8 is not very intuitive and easy for end users (it's "heavy")
I thought OCA developped an easier way to define, calculate and transfer landed costs to purchase costs ....
