Hi George!

Did you try to use the e-Commerce module instead of the POS?

  With all my best regards,

Hello,

I am looking something like https://orderli.com/en/index natively supported in Odoo.

Generally speaking I would like to implement the following workflow:

1) a QR barcode is printed by Odoo which encodes a url. The QR code is put on the table. The url redirects the user to the menu of the restaurant. The url must also encode information about the table itself (for example ?table=14) so that we know who is viewing the menu.

2) The menu of the restaurant allows them to order/mix/match products and quantities and add them to a "basket", then place the order.

3) The order is placed and served to the table, the customer can go back to the menu for further orders and pay via a button on the menu and close the tab.

Anyone perhaps have seen something like that?

For me the simpler thing to do is to have a custom html report that will be used as a menu. There needs to be an easy way for the restauranteur to change the menu. Extending PoS might also be an option.
