Just a quick update about the modules we pushed to v7 last year (see list bellow).
We are currently porting them to v8 and we are already quite late in delivering them, so they are going to be among our short term priority.
If you'd like to help please let me know.

Please note that we have no plans to migrate to v9, so we'd love to transfer the maintainership of those modules to someone else in the community.

  • stock_available: pluggable module to compute the "quantity available for sale"
    • merged
  • stock_available_immediatly: plugin for stock_available to exclude receptions
    • merged
  • stock_available_sale: plugin for stock_available to exclude sales quotations
  • stock_available_mrp: plugin for stock_available to include the production capacity
    • to be done
    • will probably be adapted to follow the suggestions we received last year
  • stock_inventory_hierarchical: let's you group inventories into a tree structure, to ease management of big warehouses
    • to be done
    • probably needs only minor adaptations
  • stock_inventory_location: lets you declare exhaustive inventories : if something is not in the inventory, it gets removed from the stock.
    • to be done
    • must be adapted to v8 WMS, not trivial
  • stock_inventory_hierarchical_location: glue for the 2 previous modules
    • to be done
    • probably needs only minor adaptations
