I am working with a company that purchases its products overseas. Each product comes pre-packaged in its own box size. They do not take their products and package them into boxes when they go to ship out an order. And each product always ships separately.
They are trying to use Odoo's UPS and FedEx app for shipping. But are having an issue with Delivery Packages. Since UPS and FedEx calculate the shipping cost by the package size we would have to create a Delivery Package for each product for both UPS and FedEx and assign the shipping method packaging code. Since they have over 1000 products this seems to be a nightmare. Am I missing a feature inside Odoo where I can set the L , W, H of the product and Odoo will use that for the shipping quote? Or is there an app out there to achieve this? Have any of you dealt with shipping products this way and can enlighten me on your process?
