Your example is also good as it shows clearly the 
limitation of transifex from the Odoo point of view. 
You have to know where to find the term.
There is no possibility to search for a term in the project, 
f.e. in Odoo v9, or did i miss something ?
 The search facility of Transifex is not that bad, but in many cases, the same term has multiple occurences and you have to identify the proper one. In the other thread I made a short guide with 3 screenshots, but I don't know if these came through, so I did use a github issue for that purpose, please check:
