Re: Odoo to Odoo Connector
by "Kitti U." <kittiu@ecosoft.co.th> - 17/08/2015 17:08:55The aim of Odoo to Odoo connector is to allow a more distributed (geographic) server possible.
It might also help in performance as the problem mostly come from bottle neck of a single database, no from web server.
Imagine a really really big system expanding to 100 applications and 10,000 users. I just think that we can't keep tuning one single database to have great performance (or it could?) all the way. At a certain size, it will have to split heavy used applications, but how to sync its shared master data. So, I think connector will be the long term solution.
Reverse proxy can add more servers, but all still only a single database, how much it could help in such case?
Thanks,

Website and website_sale allowed in proxy but, Odoo’s backend forbidden by proxy rules or just login forbidden without PKI.
No sense Odoo to Odoo Connector as is make complicated something simple.
