Levent, you can install the mcfix* modules, and still have multicompany with switching. That's why they are called mcfix. They are truly fixes.

What a great effort! Would it be better for this project to have it's own repo such as multi-company-no-switch? I think having 'fix' in name misleading. It is possible without these module to have multicompany (with switching).

Hello,

We are really, really close to having most of the fixes to truly be able to operate in a multi-company environment without needing to switch companies. A user working on a parent company can operate on all children, and the flows will all be consistent company-wise.
See the project here:
https://github.com/Eficent/multicompany-fixes

This is a result of months of hard work done mostly by @etobella and @mreficent, and you will see that the quality of the code is outstanding.

We are now starting to migrate the project to OCA: https://github.com/OCA/multi-company

I strongly encourage the OCA contributors to get involved into the review process happening in https://github.com/OCA/multi-company/pulls

I have asked Odoo devs to get involved too https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/20508#issuecomment-378881614
