FYI - We have also been working with Ansible for some months already and have recently published on GitHub :

  • the modules we have been using for deploying directly on Ubuntu/Debian server (contains role to initialize, then securize the server, install odoo and owncloud) : https://github.com/lefilament/ansible - we have used that one until recently to deploy/upgrade Odoo v9 and v10 (+ OCA repo + custom repos) on all our client servers
