Hi Ermin,
If it's not LGPLv3 they cannot integrate it in the core at all to my knowledge. And thus it will have much lower coverage.
However my goal is to help Odoo and the community as a whole, relicensing was just an option to progress this purpose.
If anyone thinks it's a bad move then we can debate and I will not act alone on it, rest assured.
Nhomar, thanks for your support. Now that the source is open, a lot of great coders can leave their feedback and PR's which will definitely improve the product.
There is for sure a lot of room for improvement, one such area that I'm particularly not proud of is the domain parsing.
It was done in a rush, planned for refactoring and I did not get the time to do it.
