Have a look at the github OCA/web repository. One of the modules does exactly what you ask for. https://github.com/OCA/web/tree/10.0/web_widget_x2many_2d_matrix

Reaching out to see if anyone knows if there is a OCA widget with spreadsheet like functionality? Or at least a widget with the ability to manipulate/update data in a 2-dimensional grid?  If not any recommendations would be appreciated.
