Re: Authentification Odoo using LDAP

Hi Ra,

Firstly this is probably the wrong group to post such a question, this group is for interfacing external databases to Odoo.

After installing the Odoo LDAP module, go to Setting(on the menu)->General Settings(on the side bar) Scroll down to 'LDAP Parameters' and put in the details for your LDAP server.

- Server address/port
- Authenticated user for the query
- Base DN for the search
- Odoo template for the new user
- The filter to use to search for the Odoo login user.

The filter I'm using is 'uid=%s'

There is a simple (unofficial) patch to use other info, such as 'email' for the filter, pity this is not in the mainstream.

Hope this helps

Hello Community,

I am looking to set up the authentification in Odoo by using LDAP account.

I installed "Authentification via LDAP" module, and I try the configuration but still not working.

Could you help me please.

Thank you.
