Hi Jordi,

I think that Odoo SA dropped EDI support for v9.

Do you plan to use the former EDI support from Odoo?

AFAIR Odoo EDI format wasn' supporting EDICFACT, X12 or other EDI formats... On top of that there was problems with former EDI in a multicompany environment... ODony communicate on this issue some time ago.

giving a google hit a found those interrersting links

Hello, we're considering using the Odoo Connector to generate or receive XML files associated to sales orders, picking, invoices.. and then translate these XML messages to EDI format using Bots ( http://bots.sourceforge.net/en/index.shtml).

Based on my previous experience with SAP, having a powerful Connector that exports/imports data from the ERP to XML is more than enough to build a robust EDI integration.

Bots seems to be also a powerful and stable translator between XML and EDI with lots of examples, and it is written in Python.

I would like to know of anyone in OVA has worked on this topic (or related), and would be interested to participate in such project, to be fully released to OCA.

Regards,
Jordi.
