Was definitely an issue in previous version s- we ended up using SQL to do the updates of reconciled items which did help – but we were dealing with a payment matched to say 100 invoices

Hi Karl,

 

if Odoo 13 is an option for you, you should give it a try, they improved 

the ORM performance a lot in 13.0 and as far as i remember avoiding to 

much recomputing was a big part of it.
