On 7 November 2024, the Akretion team was delighted to host a Meetup dedicated to the new features of Odoo V18 at their offices in Lyon / Villeurbanne (France). This event was an opportunity to discover the improvements made to the ERP in the new version.
This Meetup brought together professionals from a variety of backgrounds, entrepreneurs, developers and consultants, all keen to discover how Odoo V18 and the OCA modules could meet their business needs.
In order to put themselves in the shoes of a company that uses Odoo for its day-to-day management, Alexis de Lattre presented the ERP workflow of a fictitious company specialising in the sale of flowers:
creating items by defining LOTS and barcodes
scanning items using a Zebra scanner
setting up supply rules
creation and customisation of quotations (discounts, customer languages, etc.)
create invoices
creation of delivery notes and stock reservations
create customer invoices
sales via the Odoo point of sale
pivotal views for data analysis (sales and purchasing analysis)
