To all those who don't like the new accounting system: you should have complained, as we did, many month ago, when the V9 roadmap was announced.
Maybe this would have had an impact then...

Stop the FUD... that's right.

But we all disagreed in several things already (look for the history).

1.- No period and no logical date management by default: We disagreed already but it was done with no chance, the comparition was done with software which do not have several important concepts, but in our cases we can manage the situation.

2.- We complain about no voucher, but we have it (it was not removed, but it was almost margined to allow people do not use anymore), new bank statement do not solve all situations, but we can find a workaround BTW.

3.- No parentChild on accounts, then they were replaced functionally by categories, then categories do not have parent child either, then now we need to develop reports with no consistency from a data model PoV, but again, it can be solved with little development (but I really appreciate it was mantained as it is).

Honestly FMPOV several over simplifications on accounting were done demonstration a lot of leak of knowledge on deep SQL, the old model could be improved a lot without change this kind of things.

But until now, honestly, all those changes can be managed at localization PoV, what is sad is that those development could be avoided.

We complain and argument in the original accounting document, I knew since 1 year in advance this will happen, who is surprise now is because they didn't follow the previous communication.

Regards.

PS: Stop the FUD, comments like "Price comes Up" which are not true bring noise to a really deeper issue which is real.
