Dear OCA GDPR community,

I invite you all to a conference call to discuss the approach to managing GDPR requirements with Odoo and encourage anyone interested in being involved in this initiative to join the call.

To join the conference, call the dial-in number and enter the 4 digit room number below.

  • Call time & date: 12:00 BST (13:00 CET) Friday 6th April 2018 for 1 hour

When you dial in, you will be asked to say your name followed by the # key (also referred to as the Pound key), you will then be connected to the conference call. Your name will be played to the conference when you join and leave to enable participants to know who is on the call. If your conference leader has not yet joined, you will be held in a queue until the leader connects.

Your conference leader may lock the room once everyone has joined for security reasons. If this is the case, you may not be able to re-join should you disconnect from the room unless the room is unlocked first. There is no limit to the number of participants in a conference.

Here are some conference call etiquette tips to help your call go as smoothly as possible:

1. Mute your phone when you are not talking

2. Background noise should be avoided if possible, and if not, see point 1 above

3. Poor mobile signal can make conferences difficult. Try to use a fixed line or ensure you have good coverage

4. New users should dial in beforehand to ensure that they are familiar with the service

5. Screen sharing or video applications should be tested before the call starts
