It can be interesting in some times, although most of the PRs don't involve any DB layout change. Anyway, if you want to work in that, PRs to MQT (Maintainer Quality Tools) are welcome, but maybe it doesn't worth the spent time.

Hi!

I will be nice if we can have a travis job that compare stable version of the branch and feature/pr version:
  1. Start odoo with stable version, eg: 8.0
  2. Compare 8.0 with pr version and  propose openupgrade_analysis.txt
  3. Try to run upgrate scripts if avaliable, if not fail;
This is in my TODO list, but with low priority.
