Hi,

Technically, a product template has no default code. The field belongs to the product variant. On the product template form the field is shown if only 1 variant exists.

If you are searching on product variants the default code is always shown.

To modify this behaviour, modify the name_get method on product.template

Neither in price list items list, nor when entering a product template in the price list item form

displaying name like that : [Code] Name

And subsidiary question : does a module exist for doing that ?
