I believe property taxes in the US are an example. The bank issues a loan to customer A. Monthly bills for the loan will typically also include property taxes, which are subsequently routed from the bank to the government.

IMHO it is not necessary to cover all cases, it must cover all automatic cases (with automatic allocation/posting), given that a new tax code is created for the new tax rate. And I do create products or dummy products for all cases, where I prefer automatic posting.
