If you want we can check it out together in hangout, but just a little check before, did you uncheck the apps filter in the filter box, cause it's no apps, it's just a module, the list gonna grow from less than 50 to over 300 and there you should see all module in the load directory from your configuration file

I have no option to 'refresh local module' in the apps menu. I only have 'update apps list'. I already did that, as I described in my original email. But no additional app is shown so nothing to install.

Should the Rate Auto-download really show up as a seperate app?

adding a path to the addons only made them installable.

after that go in dev mode, then in application, choose to refresh local module and after that install those wanted module

Yes, permissions are the same as the build-in modules and I have restarted the entire computer. Any other ideas?

Dear all,

I am on Odoo 10 Community Edition installed from nightly packages on Ubuntu 16.04. I took the following steps to install account-financial-tools

These are the steps I took:
1. git clone https://github.com/OCA/account-financial-tools -b 10.0 --depth=1
2. add /usr/local/lib/odoo/addons/git/account-financial-tools to addon-path
3. developer mode
4. update module list

However, I still do not have the Accounting > Configuration > Multi-currencies > Rate Auto-download
in settings for accounting. What am I doing wrong?

Regards,
Alexander
