No, IMHO accounting by its nature is neutral (or mathematically spoken,
accounting entries are points in a multi-dimensional space, one of the
dimensions is time, other axes for example are different legal account
schemes (CoAs), analytical schemes and so on).

But what is almost irresistencibly hierarchical is the mindset of
accountants since medieval age :-)
